The description reads as follows: A Map of the land belonging to Sir John Rodes baronet in the Manor of Barlborough in the County of Darby, surveyor John Dickinson Anno Domini 1723. Surveyor: John Dickinson. Scale: of Gunters chains 4 to an inch [1:3200] with dividers. Size: 120 x 128 cm. Materials: coloured ink on parchment. Centred on: SK477783 Notes: similar to D505/72/8 but 'John Dickinson fecit 1727' added on bottom right hand corner: 2 fewer tenants in the table with a different heading, fields named West Field and Mill Field: houses, church etc. all depicted but not so carefully drawn: slightly different orientation and cartouche etc. placed differently on map.
