<dc:description>An old Eastern Region six-plank wagon, with a Midland Region five-plank wagon beyond at the top of the incline on the ascending line. Note the scotch to prevent runaways and the signal guarding the top of the incline. The timber framework in the foreground is the support for the incline indicator cable between the incline foot and the engine house. This had a repeater attached to the wire rope to inform crew at the top of the incline as well as within the engine house.</dc:description>
