  <dc:description>A replica at Shallcross Yard of the inscribed stone and seal of the CHPR, as seen on the north portal of Newhaven Tunnel.  It is mounted in a circular plinth with a fish-bellied rail.  The track was removed in 1966 and the site of the yard is now occupied by an old peoples' home called 'Cromford Court'.</dc:description>
