<dc:description>The boiler from an ex LNW 'DX Goods' 0-6-0 mounted on top of the frame of a former McConnell six-wheel water tank, believed to be No.17. This had previously been reduced to four wheels for use on the CHPR. The boiler came into use for raising steam for the engine house after the last of the Cornish boilers was condemned in 1957 according to written sources. However a photograph in 'Jones & Bentley', dated October 1960 does not appear to show the boiler in position.</dc:description>
