<dc:description>From the Cromford Canal towpath near Brown's Bridge across to the workshops and Sheep Pasture incline. On the right are the two water tanks fed from Brown's Spring. In the centre is the old LNWR home signal. The canal closed to traffic in 1944 but was separated from the rest of the canal system in 1900 when Butterley Tunnel closed due to subsidence.</dc:description>
