  <dc:title>Hopton Incline</dc:title>
<dc:description>The aftermath of the fatal accident on the 6th October 1937. The 0835 Middleton-Parsley Hay freight, consisting of four wagons loaded with limestone and a 20 ton brake van hauled by North London Tank No.27521, became derailed at the foot of Hopton Incline, and rolled down the 30 foot embankment onto the Wirksworth-Brassington road. The photograph shows 27521 lying on its side at the foot of the embankment surrounded by wagon debris. </dc:description>
