  <dc:title>Middleton Top Engine House</dc:title>
<dc:description>The engine house after abandonment of the incline showing more clearly the support for the three communication wires held on small pulley wheels before entering the engine house. The DX goods boiler used for generating steam is still in place in front of the engine shed, with a Webb water tank adjacent. A seven-plank wooden bodied wagon is visible in front of the Redhill Quarry plant. Intake Tip in the background has very little vegetation cover present at this time.</dc:description>
