  <dc:title>Agreement between Robert Scholes of Leek, Staffordshire, farmer, and Thomas Wyld of Tinkersley, in the Parish of Darley [Dale], farmer; - reciting that they are joint tenants and co-partners to a farm at Tinkersley under the Duke of Rutland as annual tenants; - that Scholes supplied all the capital whereas Wyld managed the farm and was paid a salary, and that Wyld lent Scholes the sum of £250 at 5 per cent interest. It is now agreed that the partnership should be dissolved this day, the effects valued, and (after charges) half should be paid by Wyld to Scholes, the promissory note cancelled, and that Wyld should pay all debts, but Scholes is to pay one Fielding, a gardener, etc 6 Jan 1857</dc:title>
