Building plans and applications This series consists of loose plans of new buildings and streets submitted to the Council for approval, usually accompanied by a notice of intent. The plans have been sampled: all items from the earliest box have been retained (mostly dated 1900 and 1901), as have all plans and files lodged in years ending 1 (from 1911 onwards). The plans are numbered in running sequences starting at no. 1 in January of every year, with the exception of the 1920s where a running sequence over a number of years was employed. 1890-1941
