The plaintiff owned land in Great Hucklow, and the defendants owned Hill Top Mine.  The plaintiff alleged ·trespass on his land. Papers include case and brief for the defendants in a case  in Derby Assizes and King's Bench with Mary Rodes, plaintiff, who alleged trespass on her lands in Great Hucklow 1785-1787.
