Extract copied from the Tutbury Coucher, part of the records of the Duchy of Lancaster, on the holdings of the Mountgomery family in Sudbury and Mackley Comprising memoranda that Nicholas Mountgomery, knight, holds the manor of Sudbury with advowsons of the churches of Cubley, Marston Montgomery, Aston, Snelston, Somersal "Eydon" [?Eaton], "Segsale" [Sedsall], Oslaston and Rodsley, a fee for 5 knights, and Lady Joan Mountgomery holds a fourth part of the fee of the manor of Mackley.
