London. John Longsdon to father. William Hulley and other passengers mustered at Gravesend on Saturday night - spent pleasant evening - went aboard at noon yesterday - anchor up. Ship being fairly under sail, writer left her.
William in great spirits - tranquil and cheerful over having left London. Remounted and from high ground above saw her running finely for the Nore - rode back through Eltham and Croydon. Home by 10. Harvest nearly finished, corn generally of good quality.</dc:title>
