  <dc:description>At the front are memoranda concerning repairs to vicarage house 1798, building of a new stable  1804, repairs to vicarage 1808-9 and addition of  land to churchyard 1809.   At the end of the baptism entries is a copy of the  marriage certificate of Samuel Turton Lieutenant  in 66th Regiment and Mary English married at  Colombo 11 Oct 1808 and extracts from baptism  registers at Colombo and Trincomalee, Ceylon,  concerning the births of their children, 1810-1814.  This is followed by a detailed account of pew rights 1819; agreement for sale of seats by  committee appointed to build the organ gallery  1821; memoranda of baptisms/births of children  with a baptism certificate from Calcutta [Kolkata, India] Fort  William in Bombay 1829, relating to children  born elsewhere often abroad (1797-1829) and  a death 1834, particularly of the Jessop family,  entered 1820-1835; memorandum of church  restoration with costs, benefactors 1874.  </dc:description>
