This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012).  The description reads as follows:

A schemar draft of Mr Stufings house garden and orchard and part of his lands near his house in Hopton in the County of Darby. Observed Anno. Dom. MDCLXXXIIII [1684]

Surveyor:[Peter Barker?]. Scale: a skale of 18 poles [1:800] with dividers. Size: 58 x 55.5 cm., irregular. 
Materials: parchment, severely stained and creased, coloured red, yellow, blue for boundaries, green for orchard, etc. 
Centred on: SK259532
Notes: compass rose, cardinal points omitted, west at top of sheet. Shows village street with three storey house in elevation with 4 chimneys third storey windows in gable end and dormer, all windows apparently mullioned, courtyards, gardens, outbuildings in detail, streams, lanes: names in capitals.
