Lease by Elizabeth I to Henry Chaworth of Annesley, Notts, esq, in consideration of £6 13s 4d of a moiety of the rectory of Marnham of Marnham [Notts.] with the lands etc pertaining to the same, which was in the tenure of Edward Babington, decd., [for life at a rent of £7-13s-4d], late parcel of the possessions of Sir George Chaworth decd. and in the Queen's hands by reason of the minority of Elizabeth Chaworth - during the minority of the said Elizabeth, at £7 13s ½d a year 4 Feb, 39 Eliz.
