Draft order of the trustees to Henry Aldrich - whereas in 1690, Rev Goodred, vicar of Ashbourne refused to preach the Lectureship in Ashbourne Church and the lectureship was therefore moved to Kniveton - and whereas Rev Goodred and the inhabitants have petitioned that the Lectureship be restored to the church - Aldrich is to cease lecturing at Kniveton and return to Ashbourne, lecturing every Sunday 1693
