<dc:title>Heanor coal leases, 19th cent; Winster title deed, 1702</dc:title>
<dc:description>These documents relate chiefly to coal mining in Heanor, Pinxton, Codnor and Loscoe in the early to mid-19th century. A legal opinion in 1840 on a proposal to extend Heanor colliery railway across the Erewash canal to a wharf on the Nottingham canal is included (D2487/5). There is also an apparently unrelated deed relating to Winster in the early 18th century and a copy of an Act of Parliament for repair to roads between Derby and Mansfield and Nuthall in Nottinghamshire.</dc:description>
