Stafford), and Derby to hold upon the following trusts: to the use of Bateman for his life, then to allow Temperance an annuity of £750 for life, and subject thereto, to Rev. Francis Gisborne rector of Staveley for a term of 500 years, then to the use of the first son of Hugh and Temperance in tail male, and in default of such issue to the use of daughters in equal shares, and in default of such issue to the right heirs of Hugh; the term of 500 years upon trust for better securing the annuity of £750 and upon trusts to raise portions for any younger children: £8000 for one child; £10,000 between two or more.
