Demesne land south of Chapel-en-le-Frith to Over-end, with roads, topographical features: scattered farmhouses are shown with their land, field-names: farmhouses drawn in simple profile and named, e.g. Hallsteads, March Farm, but The Ridge is drawn in plan with outline of yard and garden: in Chapel-en-le-Frith the houses are in block diagram except the steepled church and a house on north side of the market place: roads, paths: attention is shown to the landscape, the steeply rising ground around the Moss, Lady Low and Cow Low, Castle Naze, Dovehole mouth, noted.
