Agreement between Edward Wilson of Cannock esq., and Walter Noel of Hilcot, Staffordshire, by which Noel agrees to find and provide for 12 sheriff's men a good suit of cloths of the same sort of cloth and colours as Edward Wilson, nominated as Sheriff of Staffordshire, has already affixed; also to entertain and feed them during the course of the Assizes to provide clothes for the trumpeter, tobacco and various meals: for providing these services Wilson pays Noel, nominated as Undersheriff, £40 29 Jan 1727/8 [1728]
