Settlement upon the marriage of Arthur Brown of Wooton p Ellastone, Staffordshire, and Mary his wife, whereby Brown, with John Brown his son and heir, conveys to John Hurd of Stydd, gent, and John Fallows of Ramsor p Ellaston, yeoman, a close at Ellaston called Swynes Croft (2 acres ) (tenant Mathew Catton), to the use of Arthur Brown for life, then to the use of Mary, his wife, for her life with remainder to such uses as Arthur may direct by deed or will, 3 June 1721 1721
