<dc:title>Local Appeal Tribunal case file for Henry Ernest Jackson, aged 57, [job not stated] at [colliery not stated]</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Date of birth:
Marital status: Married
Address: 82 Park Side, Somercotes
Type of benefit claimed: Injury benefit
Type of injury: Injury - chest
Further information: Previous hearings 12 August and 4 November 1958 were adjourned for medical evidence because the accident when Jackson strained his chest was 12 November 1957 and then emphysema was diagnosed in March 1958 and there was doubt as to whether the emphysema arose out of the accident. After the GP letter showed no record of the accident and that the X-ray taken to diagnose the emphysema showed no evidence of injury or silicosis, the Compensation Agent advised withdrawal of the case, however it went ahead.</dc:description>
