Injury benefit was paid from 10 March 1959 but disallowed from 8 April 1959 following information that he was being treated for Rheumatoid Arthritis at Sheffield Hospital. There is detailed information about his medical history included in correspondence. The Medical Officer's report of 25 May 1959 states 'the recent incapacity had not been due to injury. In myopinion the insured person is incapable of work at the above occupation.' The tribunal found against the claimant on appeal dated 11 June 1959 and accepted the Medical Report.</dc:description>
