Further information: From July 1952 claimant was working as a Stores Attendant - NCB Markham Colliery. On 18 November 1955 the Pneumoconiosis Medical Board diagnosed the disease and assesssed disablement at 20 per cent provisionally. It was not disputed that a return to the old job was possible, but earnings evidence was compared to the timber drawer's rate of pay (which had been subject to an increase since 1952).</dc:description>
