Notification by Thomas son of William of Glapwell that he has bound all the lands and tenements which he had in Glapwell at Michaelmas 1275 to the canons to cover any expenses which they may incur in entering, taking seisin of and holding the wood and pasture and 2 acres which he granted to them, and that he has submitted himself to the jurisdiction of the Sheriff of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and the Official of the Archdeacon of Derby who can compel him to observe this obligation, [13 Oct] 1275
