Agreement between Henry Puterel and William de Motesfund, Prior of Newstead whereby Henry agrees that Newstead Abbey shall have the land of Ruthorn which he obtained from them by royal writ - the abbey agrees that Henry shall have all the land which he ought to receive from Robert le Sauvage and if Robert neither ought nor can warrant the land, they will pay Henry 40 marks.
