York), clerk and William Shinnwel of Calver, yeoman (on the one part), and Henry Thornhill of Brickhouse near Chesterfield and Nicholas Twigg of Holme, gentlemen, on behalf of the partners in the lead mine called Pindale mine, near Pindale End in Castleton (of the other part). The former agree that a sough may be sunk through certain closes (named) belonging to them, to drain the said mine, and the partners agree to compensate them for such damages as shall be assessed by three (named) arbitrators. |
