Description
Robert Dyrand, John Berde, chaplain, Roger Eyre and Phillip Eyre, chaplain, to Walter Halley (son and heir of Oliver Halley), and Margaret his wife, daughter of Nicholas Eyre. A messuage and lands in the town and fields of Burghe within the town of Hope and in the wood [ffryth] within the town of Hatherge, which the grantees hold of the gift of Walter Halley and Peter Halley, son of Bartholomew Halley. To the use of Walter Halley and his issue, thento Peter Halley, and other stated uses. They appoint John Glossop their attorney. Burgh, 2nd March, 1470/1. (The 49th year from the beginning of the reign of Henry VI and the first of his reassumption of regal authority).
