Description
Elias, lord of Thornhull, to Thomas, his son. Three bovates of land in the town and territory of Thornhull with all appurtenances, and a meadow called Youes medue, and a fourth part of a meadow called Gos medue, with free ingress and egress for pasturing animals, and all his arable lands in le Denge, of which one half bovate William Moton once held, another half bovate Philip Heryng once held, a third half bovate Robert Herying once held, a fourth half bovate Peter de Thornhull once held, a fifth half bovate in his own occupation, four acres Roger de Hadfels holds, and one acre lying in le Raff, paying annually to the lord in chief 12d at the Annunciation of the Virgin and 12d at the feast of St. Michael. Undated, but presumably c.1321.
