Description
Nicholas Blackwelle, gentleman, of Hamstall Rudware (co. Staffs), agrees to grant to the right honourable George, earl of Shrewsbury, property called Haddon Heys, Darinebathe and Staynlowe in Bakewell, for £50 consideration, in exchange for property in Sternedalle and Cowdale.
Added in a different hand: Agreement by Blackwells to lease to Shrewsbury for 10 years property lately held by Thomas Heathcote in Cowdale (Bakewell), also to be bound in £100 to discharge the earl of all incumbrances made since the Queen's grant of the land.
