Administrative History
The LNWR was incorporated in 1846 on the amalgamation of London and Birmingham Railway, Grand Junction Railway and Manchester and Birmingham Railway.
Custodial History
These records were transferred from Chesterfield Museum in April 2004, and from Buxton Museum and Art Gallery in May 2021 and November 2021.
