| Administrative History | Fred Peacock of Denby, who died in March 1999, was a well-known local historian. He collected historical information and photographs over many years and contributed the preface to the reprint of Fryar's 'History of Denby', in 1994. Active in parish life, he was also Churchwarden of St Mary's, Denby, for several decades. |
