Title
Henrietta Becker to her sister
Date
Jun 1789
Description
If Sir William FitzHerbert is at Hopton, asks her to give him her greetings and to thank him for his kindness; "Sir William is always extremely polite to everybody but he treated me as if I had been his own daughter ... if I was to be much with him, I should be fearful of falling in love in down right earnest - do not read him this last sentence, I charge you, tho' only in jest. I would not have him know I said such a thing for all the world".
