Title
Settlement on the marriage of Rev. William Alderson rector of Aston (co. York) and Harriet Walker of Aston-on-Trent spinster, eldest daughter of Joseph Walker of Aston-on-Trent esq. deceased, reciting (1) that William Alderson is possessed of the principal sum of £5000 now secured on mortgage (2) will of Joseph Walker deceased (30 November 1800) bequeathing to each daughter £12,000 when 21, which Harriet has now received (3) that the sum of £5000 secured on mortgage is to be assigned to trustees, and that £7000 part of Harriet's fortune is to be invested by trustees in 3% consolidated bank annuities, whereby William and Harriet agree that Sir Henry FitzHerbert of Tissington Bart. and Joseph Need Walker of Aston-on-Trent esq. shall stand possessed of the said sum of £5000 and the sum of £11808 12s. 1d. 3% bank annuities to hold upon the following trusts: concerning the £5000 in trust for William until the marriage is solemnized and concerning the bank annuities in trust for Harriet until the marriage is solemnized, and then concerning both in trust for William to receive all dividends, interest etc. for life, and after his decease in trust for Harriet likewise, and after her decease in trust for any children of the marriage.
