Description
Mr. Laing [Perrin's Jamaican attorney] came to town from the Orkney Isles and has now returned there to be with his family. The pamphlet "The Crises" is written by a Mr. Stephens, a brother-in-law of William Wilberforce; Mr. Graham thinks Perrin will not approve of its argument against the trade in enslaved African people.
