| Administrative History | The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Association is a voluntary organisation working with WyvernRail plc to re-open the Wirksworth to Duffield railway line.
The Train Ride to History project followed the opening of the mineral incline from Wirksworth to the newly constructed platform at Ravenstor to passenger traffic.
The project group produced interpretative panels and audio descriptions at two sites on the train. An inforrmation leaflet and a guided walk also helped to highlight the quarrying, transport and uses of stone in this area.
