Administrative History | James Fox worked in Brimington as a wheelwright and joiner, and is mentioned in Pigot's Directory of Derbyshire in 1835. During the time these ledger books were in use, Fox's son William was also involved, and the company of James Fox & Son continued to operate as a firm of wheelwrights, blacksmiths, carpenters and, later, builders, well into the twentieth century. |
