Administrative History | Originally entitled the Bolehill Reading Institute, the organisation was found in 1889. Its purpose was to establish a place where the young men might spend their evenings. In the Institute they would have the privilege of improving their mental and moral condition by suitable literature and amusement. The Institute was managed by a President, Vice President, a Secretary, a Tresurer, and 12 members of committee. |
