| Administrative History | The Church was opened in 1872, and the first Trust was constituted on 1 August 1873. Following the union of the Primitives and the Wesleyan churches in 1932, the two churches on Whittington Moor (the Primitive Chapel being in Station Road, see D6473) eventually came under one minister and united in 1942 to form one church. |
