Description
The collection comprises an index to memorials, a plan of the churchyard, and index cards featuring photographs of the stones. The index cards feature approximately 365 of the 591 pre 1900 memorials. The compiler of this collection has also highlighted memorials of particular interest. They include an Early English stone (285), two 17th century stones (335&398), three stones featuring faces (413, 469 and 710), one stone featuring a workman's tools (400), and a stone featuring an entire family that died within seven weeks (545).
