Administrative History	As Swadlincote does not appear in a list of Britannic Assurance Company branches in a Derbyshire street directory of 1912 but is referenced in a 1914 newspaper report describing a staff outing of the Swadlincote branch, it must have opened some time during the intervening period. There are similar reports of staff outings in 1931-1933 and an advertisement in 1941.
