Administrative History	The Long Eaton Public Library, Sawley Road, was erected at a cost of £3,500 given by Andrew Carnegie Esquire, and was opened on 23 June 1906 on a site given by local subsrcibers.
Custodial History	These records were transferred to Derbyshire Record Office from Long Eaton Library in December 2003.
