Administrative History
The school was originally Hastings Street Higher Grade Girls when it opened in 1910, before becoming St. James Road Senior Girls. In 1938, the name was changed to Hastings Street Senior Girls before finally becoming Hardwick Secondary Modern Girls School. The school has since closed.
