| Description | To his son, William Philp Perrin, £5000 when 21; to daughter Sarah, £5000 when 21 or when married; to wife Frances, £1500 in Jamaican currency to divide among their children as she thinks best; to same, £500 and all household furniture etc. in England; an annuity of £700 in bar of dower; and £60 a year to pay for Sarah's board for as long as Sarah lives with her; to his brother Samuel Perrin, an annuity of £50; to Mrs. Margaret Bains formerly of Jamaica now of Hartlepool, £30 and an annuity of £55 with a release of any debts provided she waives any claim to the sum raised by the sale of her nine negroes; to his son William Philp Perrin, the remainder of all the estate to hold in fee, with remainder to daughter Sarah and the heirs of her body upon the following trusts: if William Philp Perrin dies, to permit Frances to receive the rents and profits for the term of her widowhood and during Sarah's minority or until her marriage; and then to receive half the same for life, paying to Sarah £100 a year from the age of 16 till the day of her marriage or until 21; but if Sarah shall die and Frances survive her, Frances is to receive the whole of the rents and profits for life, and then the remainder of the estate to pass to testator's brother-in-law, Rev. William Rothery of Chelsea, he paying to Mr. Benjamin Victor late of Pall Mall, London, £500. Executors to be: in England, Frances, who is also appointed guardian of their children during her widowhood, and until William Philp Perrin is 18 and Sarah 21; and William Rothery; and in Jamaica, the Hon. Charles Price of St. Catherine's, Jamaica, and in case of his death, his son Charles; and Malcom Laing of Kingston esq., executors also to act as guardians of testator's son, retaining possession of the estates until he is 19; testator's son also to act as an executor. Codicil instructing executors to purchase ten negroes not above the rate of £50 each for the use of Elizabeth Fickle, a free mulatto woman, to her use for ever; to purchase for same, land in Spanish Town for a house, the title to be in her name; to same Elizabeth for life; 20 acres on the Retrieve plantation in the parish of St. Andrew; to same, £50 in Jamaican currency, and annuity of £50 in Jamaican currency; Elizabeth to be able to live on the Vere plantation for life.
